It snowed!  In Vancouver!  The way people are acting you’d think it was the end of the world. Granted, the power in our apartment was out for most of the day today, and UBC and SFU were both closed, but we didn’t get that much snow. But it’s enough to make me homesick for Halifax, where I lived through both Hurricane Juan and a huge blizzard a couple years ago.
