For a city that seems so green in other respects, I'm really perplexed that Vancouver hasn't gotten their act together yet on the composting thing. I thought about doing vermi-composting at home but a friend who tried it said the little wormies aren't actually able to compost very much at all, and she ended up throwing out a lot of compostable stuff!
