About
I’m a user interface designer and human-computer interaction researcher currently living in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. If you want to know more aobut my professional life please have a look at my curriculum vitae.
I took a roundabout route to west coast life. I grew up in Hamilton, Ontario, then spent seven years in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where I attended Dalhousie University and earned my bachelors and masters degree. I also spent time in Ottawa, Ontario and Banff, Alberta before moving to the left coast.
I have a bad habit of trying to juggle too many hobbies – from crafty stuff like sewing and jewelry design to more athletic pursuits. I enjoy running along the seawall near my apartment in downtown Vancouver, or cycling all over the greater Vancouver area on my ancient road bike, and have been known to enter a triathlon or two. I’m also a member of the Vancouver Masters Synchro club, which keeps me active when it’s too rainy and cold outside to go for a bike or run.
