I’m a user experience professional currently living in, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. If you want to know more about my professional life please have a look at my curriculum vitae, or check out my UX blog, uxability.ca.
I grew up in Hamilton, Ontario, then spent seven years in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where I attended Dalhousie University and earned my bachelors and masters degree. I also spent time in Ottawa and Banff, and a wonderful 5 years in Vancouver before settling here in Edmonton in 2010.
I have a bad habit of trying to juggle too many hobbies – from crafty stuff like sewing and jewelry design to more athletic pursuits. While living in Vancouver I caught the triathlon bug and have done a few sprint triathlons a year since then. I’m also a synchronized swimmer, and when I lived in Vancovuer I competed with Vancouver Masters Synchro. I’m currently taking a break from most of my athletic pursuits while I await the birth of my first child.
